Travel Agency Commissioners (3 vacancies)
The Travel Agency Commissioner is an independent arbiter appointed jointly by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), The Universal Federation of Travel Agency Associations (UFTAA) and the World Travel Agents Associations Alliance (WTAAA) (The European Travel Agents and Tour Operators Association (ECTAA) is a member of the WTAAA). The Commissioner’s role is to conduct reviews affecting agents and applicants under the IATA Passenger Agency Programme. Vacancies exist for three Travel Agency Commissioners to cover each of the three IATA geographical areas commencing January 1, 2009 – Area 1 covering Canada, Latin and South America; Area 2 covering Europe and Africa; and Area 3 covering the Indian sub-continent, Asia and the South West Pacific.
